About CECAD
Centre for Environment and Community Development Assets (CECAD)
The road we take
Since our founding, we have inspired, empowered, and connected many communities to speak up and solve environmental issues in Vietnam through 03 approaches:

Vision
CECAD strives to become an influential non-governmental organization within Vietnam. CECAD conducts research on the environment and communities in order to preserve biodiversity, strengthen resilience to disasters and climate change, improve living conditions, mitigate social imbalances and promote sustainable community development. Our primary focus is on poor, disadvantaged and vulnerable communities as well as ethnic minorities in remote, ecologically important areas in need of protection which are currently under threat or facing potential exploitation
Mission
With the goal of “Towards sustainable development”, CECAD works to facilitate connections among organizations, policymakers, scientists and local communities. Through comprehensive research and innovative projects, we strive to promote sustainable community development based upon leveraging community assets. Our aim is to alleviate poverty and ensure sustainable development, particularly in remote areas where ethnic minorities reside.
